Also the whole swipe thing needs to be explained very well. Every time my girlfriend tries to do something on my phone weird things happen and apps open and close "randomly".

@avdwoude the USB file transfer issue had not been fixed in 1.0.4.20 for Macs. iPhoto just displays an empty sdcard. See the update I made below to my answer.
